As part of Art UK’s “Sculpture Around You” project a handling collection of sculptures from the collection was created to enable offsite sessions, an accessible resource for visitors unable to navigate the narrow and steep building and to support workshops for people with visual impairments.

The sculptures were captured using photogrammetry and then processed in Zephyr 3D to create solid meshes. Models were then tidied up in Meshmixer before being printed in PerFORM ceramic resin. This material gives the final sculptures added weight and ceramic like finish whilst also being robust as they are used in handling sessions.
